A communication light system informs truck drivers outside and inside loading dock personnel of the status of the loading or unloading operations taking place, helping to manage traffic flow, prevent unscheduled truck departures and trailer entries, as well as reduce time and fuel costs. Loading dock communication light systems are used by many warehouse and distribution centers to prevent unauthorized truck departures while loading/unloading operations are taking place. By implementing a flashing red and green light system, the status of the loading and unloading process is easily communicated to truck drivers outside and inside the facility. This prevents unscheduled departures of trucks from offsite locations, such as rest stops or restaurants on the highway. It also reduces the duration of truck visits, preventing unauthorized trailer entries onto private property through open loading dock doors.

The loading dock communication light system can be integrated into a new or existing facility providing loading and unloading operations. Choose incandescent lamps or LED Lamps when ordering (LED lamps are long-lasting) If incandescent lamp version is desired, and the intended use will have the lamp on constantly, a flasher is required to flash the light and reduce heat build up within the unit this does not apply to the LED lamp versions unless flashing is desired, Shallow depth prevents damage to unit, Integral eyebrow-type sun visors for extended visibility.

What is a dock light communication system?
